A service with a digital platform that empowers citizens to turn their ideas into projects or businesses with simple tools, guidance, and a collaborative community, fostering a culture of creation and growth in Sør-Varanger Municipality.
“Vaffeldrøm" addresses practical barriers that limit citizen-driven initiatives in Sør-Varanger, such as lack of accessible tools, collaboration opportunities, and shared spaces for ideation. The goal is to empower residents by making creation and collaboration accessible to everyone, breaking the perception that starting projects is reserved for a select few. A Vaffeldrøm is a simple idea with great potential – much like the first thought of selling waffles, unaware of the significant impact it would eventually have on norwegian culture.
