Linderud Manor, located in Bjerke district, is a stunning historical estate. It includes a museum, a community garden, and features one of Norway’s best-preserved historical gardens. It was initially a private residence, but became part of Museums in Akershus in 2007. However, since then, it has faced challenges such as a shortage of staff and financial support. During our research, we noticed opportunities for improvement in their communication with customers, underutilized areas in the garden, and a lack of activities for various user groups in Bjerke.
To address these issues, our proposed solution is to transform Linderud Manor into a fully sensory park, enhancing the visitor experience and creating a more unified historical sensory park. We believe this will make Linderud more attractive for new founders, employees, tourists and locals.
